Howard and Doreen McIlwraith

Howard and Doreen McIlwraith grew up in northern New Jersey and have been married for 28 years. After living in northern California for 8 years, they moved to Pennsylvania and have been homeschooling their two children since 2006. Their daughter, Heather (19) was involved with CEC for two years (including the first year when the program was called ALC). Ian (16) has spent three years enrolled with CEC and is also our website administrator. Prior to CEC, Howard and Doreen were co-founders of SCHOLA, a homeschool co-op in Quakertown for pre-school through 8th grade, and left that group after leading it for seven wonderful years. They currently attend church at Christ Community Bible Church in Perkasie where Howard enjoys playing his French horn.
